Beef from Belted Galloway are low in saturated fats. They contain up to five times the amount of heart-healthy Omega-3 fatty acids that grain-fed beef contains. The Linoleic fatty acid (Omega 6) : omega 3 ratio of their beef is one of the most healthy at 3:1. Making it comparable to fish or chicken in a healthy diet. The former also has double the level of Conjugated Linoleic Acid associated with reduced body fat.
Belted Galloway are best known for their caliber marbled beef. Their conversion of grass to muscle is considered excellent, as they require the least amount of feed per kilogram of weight gain compared to most other breeds, according to German research, making for excellent meat eating quality!
Our meat are dry aged. "A time honored technique to allow the natural enzymatic and biochemical processes that result in improved tenderness and the development of the unique flavor that can only be described as "dry aged beef." A sort after flavor by meat purveyors for many upscale restaurants and gourmet market.
FREE RANGE CATTLE
Obregon Cattle Ranch animals are naturally raised on a gentle rolling hills in Atlanta, Texas. Maintaining Optimum health and quality, our heritage breed are raised in a low stress environment with every consideration given to their overall well being.
Our cattle are free range, grass fed and finished, to produce healthy delicious beef. We don't inject them with antibiotics or give them any hormones or GMO feed. Obregon Cattle Ranch animals are treated humanely from birth to processing. Our farm uses rotational grazing practices that don't require any herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers. Our farm chickens are released to graze free contributing to further in the natural composting.

Our farm is sensitive to our customers' needs. We try our very best to accommodate our customers with specific food needs or restrictions such as unaltered beef, 1/2 side of beef, 1/4 side of beef, (or any other special cuts), kosher meat or halal meat.
