  • ROASTING

    • Oven roasting is considered a simple cooking method because it generally uses a lower temperature over a longer period of time, allowing you to "set it and forget it."

    STIR-FRY

    • Skip the takeout and make a simple stir-fry meal at home. Stir-fry your beef strips then add your favorite vegetables, sauce and other ingredients, and you’ll have a delicious one-dish meal on the table in minutes. It's just as fast (and fresher) to cook this simple one-pot meal at home. Stir-frying is best done with bite-sized pieces of food and lots of added flavors from aromatics (garlic, ginger, scallion) and Asian condiments (soy, hoisin, chili paste, etc.).

    BRAISING

    • The beauty of braising is how it turns less-tender cuts into rich, fork-tender dishes. The key is to cook the beef in liquid over low heat for several hours. If you use pre-cut chunks, make sure they're not too small (a golf ball size is good), because they tend to overcook.
    • The final result of this cooking method is tender beef that melts in your mouth. Braising is the method of choice for large, less tender cuts of beef such as a Pot Roast or Brisket, using a small amount of liquid.

    PRESSURE COOKER

    • Rediscover how pressure cookers can deliver fork-tender results in a fraction of the time needed for braising or slow cooking. Thanks to the popularity of new programmable electric models, busy home cooks are rediscovering how pressure cookers deliver fork-tender results in a fraction of the time needed for braising or slow-cooking. As always, carefully follow the manufacturer's recommendations for safe operation.
